Congratulations to the Heartland Dental Care doctors and guests who attended the fourth annual President’s Club trip. The group of approximately 130 doctors and their guests celebrated their success and renewed friendships on the Mayan shores of the Mexican Riviera at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso in March, 2009.
 The Heartland Dental Care President’s Club is a distinguished group of Heartland doctors who exemplify Heartland’s motto of "Personal Attention, Professional Excellence" with their commitment to consistently deliver the highest possible standard of care to their patients, provide strong leadership for their teams, increase their skills and knowledge through continuing education, and support fellow doctors.
The trip associated with the President’s Club is Heartland’s way of honoring doctors for their contributions to the company’s success during the year. Doctors attending say they enjoy the opportunity to network with other doctors, gain insight from and interact with executive team members, and celebrate successes as a company. Another key benefit, doctors add, is that their spouses have the chance to view Heartland’s "big picture."
 "The Presidents club is a great incentive for me to do my best and work hard everyday," said Dr. Julie Galloway of Dekalb Dental Group in Dekalb, IL. "My husband also enjoys this trip, and it is a reward for him too! I couldn't do what I do without his support, so this is one way he knows he's appreciated also."
"As a first year selection into the President’s Club, one of the best parts of the trip for me was meeting the heart of Heartland," said Dr. John Speegle of Lifetime Family Dental in Williamsburg, VA. "I was fortunate to have one-on-one time with the HDC executive team during our time together, and we had a wonderful time together enjoying the rewards of our success."
 "I always look forward to the President’s Club trip with high anticipation," said Dr. Rick Workman. "This is my chance to show my personal appreciation to those doctors who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in delivering world class patient care."
Participation in the President’s Club has nearly doubled since it was established in 2005. Of those in attendance this year, 20% were selected for the first time.
